Leggerissimi ®
is the line of rimless glasses totally Made in Italy created exclusively by Ottica Raineri.
All glasses are
customised, based on the features and requests of the
individual customer. Producing glasses from the Leggerissimi® line is a
combination of refined and complex passages and for each of these, the construction time varies from 2 to 4 hours.
WHO WE ARE:
Adrian Juan Causio: optometrist optician, as well as expert craftsman, is also the creator of the Leggerissimi ® eyewear line. He began his training in Turin in 1979, becoming owner of his own opticians shop in the city in 1981. In 1984 he took over Ottica Raineri in Gassino Torinese, a well-known activity in the area for over
50 years.
From
2014
the Region of Piedmont has awarded us the Recognition of Excellence Artisan Piedmont for Leggerissimi®, we are
the only ones in the eyewear sector. It is not a brand distributed on a large scale but rather a niche, artisan reality that you will find only in our shop.
THE LABORATORY
The heart of our work is the
internal optical laboratory that allows us to design a project, specific for each customer, through a one of a kind sartorial journey. Leggerissimi® are glasses as beautiful and original as they are durable and resistant, this is due to a whole series of measures and subtleties that we handle with extreme care.
HOW LEGGERISSIMI ARE MADE
The first design phase is made up of tests, often the
starting form
is made entirely freehand! Then we plan all the production phases, guided at all times by our experience. The cutting of the lenses, the base for the setting of the stones
and the
facets are made through a range of steps with the most technologically advanced Japanese machinery, looked after and cared for like a member of the family. The assembly, setting of the precious stones and finishing
of the glasses steps are carried out entirely by hand. Finally, quality control is entrusted to the most demanding and strict component of the group: our passion for our work and respect for our customer.
