Custom-made is better! You've organised everything down to the smallest detail for your wedding day, now give the correct importance to your glasses, your gaze will be the one that everyone is looking at, wanting to capture all of your emotions. Do not settle for ''ready-made'' glasses that suit your face, but choose glasses made especially for you. Be careful with colours Some brides think that white or light coloured glasses can somehow match their white dress or enhance the colour of their skin but nothing is more wrong! White or very light glasses have an extremely impactful and almost violent effect on the face as the glasses are seen before the bride's face. This is as far as you can get from enhancing the bride's face. As for skin-coloured glasses, or ones that try to blend in with your complexion, it'll seem that you are trying to hide your need for glasses and certainly won't strengthen your image. Stylishly rimless If you are looking for glasses with personality but that leave your face free, choose rimless glasses. Rimless glasses are perfect as they leave your face free and clean, without “cumbersome” colours, but, be careful not to fall into banality! Choosing invisible glasses may also seem like a way to "hide a need", for this reason it's important to make them unique. Leggerissimi: jewelled frameless glasses Leggerissimi glasses are jewelled rimless glasses personalised with pearls, Swarovski crystals, engravings and facets. Each pair of glasses is made along a tailoring journey, to be shared together. It starts with the studying of the shape that best enhances features and eyes, to the best dimensions for the face, nose and hairstyle. We then move on to studying the frame colour, the diamonds (86 colours and 5 different sizes) and the pearls to then conclude with studying the processing of the edges with facets and engravings. The glasses will be an accessory that will amaze everyone and instead of being perceived as something to hide, they will truly be an expression of the wearer's personality! Leggerissimi: custom-made glasses for him The same tailoring journey offered to brides is also available for grooms, perhaps a little less interesting due to the lack of diamonds and pearls! For men, the shape is studied more in detail, customising it with special processing of the edges, with facets and engravings also of their own initials on the lenses. Do you need some help? Would you like some advice on how to create custom-made glasses for your big day? Contact me, I can't wait to chat to you!

Respect for your face We love rimless glasses. We believe that their ability to suit facial features without weighing them down is unique. Every day we create shapes, processes and decorations capable of giving strength and expressiveness to such delicate and weightless glasses. Stylishly rimless The beauty of custom-made glasses is the possibility of creating a project together that leads to the expression of the personality of the wearer in perfect harmony with their features. Each face has its own shape and each shape of glasses can be personalised in an infinite number of ways. A tailor's journey We detect the parameters of each face with precision instruments and, with a sophisticated software we create a 3D model of your lenses. On the basis of these elements, we begin the tailoring journey together, designing each decoration and processing on the lenses. There is nothing more pleasant than being able to host you in our laboratory and get involved in the preparation of your glasses! Jewelled personalised glasses Each pair of glasses is made into jewellery by the setting of Swarovski crystals, pearls or precious stones. We have 5 different sizes of crystals and a palette of 86 colours available. Pearls, on the other hand, are available in 6 different diametres and 30 colours. We set precious stones upon request, selecting them together with you from the best suppliers of sapphires, garnets, emeralds and diamonds. Edge processing The facets of the edges of the lenses add light and character to each creation. Thanks to our experience, we elegantly work every surface, in order to enhance them to the absolute maximum, integrating them harmoniously with the shape. In addition to being beautiful, they are extremely functional for reducing the thickness of lenses at critical points. This is the process that requires the most testing and reflection and is often underestimated compared to the choice of the shape and decorations. Let yourself be guided and you will be surprised by how much these little forethoughts give a unique aesthetic result. Engravings Engravings are an essential opportunity of the customisation process: you can engrave your initials or small decorative elements on the lenses, which can highlight the wearer's style, making the glasses even more unique and exclusive. The incisions can be superficial or pass through the entire thickness of the lenses, creating eyebrow shaped designs and decorative lines. Do you need some help? The goggle eye effect
The lenses for hyperopia (long-sightedness) compensation have the effect of enlarging the eyes and are thicker in the centre rather than at the edges. The thicker the lenses, the greater the ''big eye'' or ''goggle eye'' effect and the greater the weight of the glasses on the nose.

 Preferred shapes
If we only had to think about maximum optimisation, geometric optics would allow us only one shape: a small round shape like our Vittorio. But can we give up our beloved cat-eye shapes or a nice decisive square shape? Certainly not! The good news is that there are many strategies for getting what you want. How to make my lenses thinner?
The main weapon is to pay attention to proportions. It is essential that the lenses are well centred with regards to the eye. Avoid extremely large glasses, where the eyes are very decentralised towards the nose. Another method is to use lenses with a high refractive index. Generally the base index is 1.5, using materials in thinner indices such as 1.6, 1.67 and 1.74 we can have the same power but, with less thickness. 3D thickness design and sculpting
To obtain the best outcome, we design your lenses with a 3D software in order to view the thicknesses together. The thickness of each part of the lenses is worked to the tenth of a millimetre. Each corner is designed to accommodate diamonds and pearls or the necessary incisions creating a real carving of the edges.

Unique glasses
The next phase of the design involves putting in place all the finishes and processes to make your glasses unique. There is no precise outline, thanks to our experience, every project is worked and refined to maximise the final effect. Each pair of glasses is unique, no two pairs are the same. As bright as a diamond
Our flagship is the diamond cut facet. In positive lenses for hyperopia, this process is particularly pleasant because we use the thickness to give further light and personality to the glasses. The facets allow the thickness of the edges to not only be halved but also with great style!

Help, my lenses are thick! In principle, myopia (short-sightedness) compensation lenses are thicker at the edge rather than in the centre. In particular, the thickness increases steadily as we move further away from the geometric centre of the lens. Given that optics is an exact science it is essential that the optical centre of the lens is placed exactly in front of the centre of the pupil. Therefore, both the prescription and the distance between the eyes are fundamental to evaluate each project. As regards the prescription it is intuitive to think that the higher the dioptres, the thicker the lens will be at the edge. As regards the distance between eyes, it is necessary to think that the closer the eyes are to each other, the thicker the lens will tend to be at the edges. For this reason it is essential to accurately record all the fundamental parameters. Preferred shapes... If we only had to think about maximum optimisation, geometric optics would allow us only one shape: oval like our Anita or wanting to be good, a nice round shape like Rondò or Vittorio. But can we give up our beloved cat-eye shapes or a nice decisive square shape? Certainly not! The good news is that there are many strategies for getting what you want. The main weapon is to pay attention to proportions It is essential that the lenses are well centred with regards to the eye. 3D thickness design and sculpting To obtain the best outcome, we design your lenses with a 3D software in order to view the thicknesses together. The thickness of each part of the lenses is worked to the tenth of a millimetre. Each corner is designed to accommodate diamonds and pearls or the necessary incisions creating a real carving of the edges. Strategic carvings A very interesting method to limit thickness at the edges is also the simplest one... just cut it away! An ingenious example is the working of Audrey or Mae where the lower half of the lens has been eliminated so as not to notice the thickness by exposing an internal and, therefore, thinner part. It's unlikely that people will look at you from above, so the result from side on will be unexpected! We file down where it's needed! We'd like to be able to file our body down where needed...at least with glasses we can! In addition to choosing the right shapes and proportions, it is possible to greatly reduce the thicknesses by filing the thickness of the lens both front and rear, greatly reducing the perceived thickness! Finally, the possibility of polishing the facets allows further shine to be given. Thickness, if managed correctly, can further embellish your glasses. Do you need some advice? Oval face The most standard of faces as it respects the proportions between the forehead, nose and chin. As regards shapes to choose from, you are spoilt for choice, indulge yourself as you please, as you will always be able to make it work. In general I'd advise you to opt for large and square shapes and to avoid small ones that are excessively round.

 Round face
Obviously avoid round shapes and rather opt for those shapes that emphasise corners with square or rectangular designs that develop horizontally. With these little tricks you can balance out the roundness of your face, making it slimmer and longer. If you have pronounced cheeks and a rounded chin, you should also avoid oval and too cateye shapes.

 Triangular face
If you have a triangular face, characterised by a narrow forehead and jaw and chin that are wider than your cheekbones, then you should choose glasses that are able to re-proportion your face and emphasise your eyes. You should opt for rounded and long frames like cateye and butterfly shapes. Heart shape face
A wide forehead and a narrow, and perhaps a little pointy, chin. To reduce this disparity you should choose glasses that rest low on your nose. This trick helps lower the centre of the face. The best shapes for you are triangular and cat eye shapes. Avoid square shapes as the lower part would highlight misproportion.

 Rectangular face
If you have a long face with a low set jaw, then glasses are the perfect accessory as they will re-proportion your face by dividing it perfectly in half, visibly reducing its length. Choose square and decisive shapes with a decent height. A slight roundness at the bottom can be useful to soften features but, be careful not to end up choosing too round shapes. Square face
It's a n o to square glasses. A square, short face with already pronounced and defined features should be balanced by slightly rounded, triangular and slightly butterfly frames.
Some advice... Eyes at the centre Even your eyes want to play their part in choosing the frame. You have to think of the glasses as if they are the frame of your gaze. So choose glasses that centre your eyes well.

 In harmony with your eyebrows
G lasses must respect the line created by your eyebrows so they must never cross them in any way: either they must completely cover them or they must remain a little below.

 Frame colour
Choose based on your skin colour. If you have light skin, with blue or hazel eyes and blonde or brown hair, you are a cold skin type, so opt for cold colours such as black, dark tortoiseshell, blue, blue or grey. Green or purple frames are great for those with red hair as well as for those with olive complexions and green eyes. If you have amber skin, dark eyes and dark or brown hair you are a warm skin type, so opt for black, brown, tortoiseshell, red, orange, bronze and gold.

 Follow your style, not fashion
The most important piece of advice I'd like to give you is: choose the glasses that represent your personality, whether they be prescription glasses or sunglasses. Your glasses will become an integral part of your face and above all, of your gaze. Remember that trends pass, but style and personality don't! Do you need some advice? Has the time come when you feel that unstoppable desire to change and see your face in a new way? You're definitely thinking of a new pair of glasses! Yes, but which ones should you choose? Do you want something new but are afraid of getting fed up of them? Then this article is for you! Get out of the vicious circle of black glasses! Rimless glasses are the only glasses that do not darken or mark your face, but rather illuminate it without altering your features. Any framed glasses have a colour, a contour and create contrast, I hear it time and again: "Bright red glasses are beautiful but what do I do when I'm wearing green?" Guys, colours are binding! There are two solutions: either choose a colour and don't worry about it, or if you want a pair of glasses that aren't binding and you are tired of the usual black glasses, the only alternative is a pair of rimless glasses!! I want designer...but not too designer! Another request that I often hear is the desire to have designer glasses... great! I love designer! Yes, but then when we start to look at some frames that are a little "stranger" we go back to the time-old phrase: "They're beautiful, and I really like them, but I think they're too much ... I'd get fed up of them!". At this point we try to sweeten everything a bit by returning to simpler models which, however, inevitably fall back within banality. The beauty of rimless glasses is the possibility to enhance facial features with plays of light that, together, with a decisive but discreet design doesn't alter or weigh down your features. Custom-made is better! How many times do I find myself looking at the glasses on the faces of strangers (I know I may seem a little strange, don't laugh!) And all too often I find myself seeing huge glasses on the faces of girls giving a TV effect or glasses that are obviously too small for big faces! Do you know what the reason is? Companies try to maximise profits so they focus on producing models that suit the majority of people and that everyone around the world could like! It's hard to give them a unique character, right? In this case too, rimless glasses have a fantastic advantage: they can be made to measure by adapting them to the size of your face! Customisable glasses, tailor-made glasses! I'm not saying that in the logic of the current eyewear production the word "personalisation" isn't known... At most they let you add some writing here or there .. which then everyone adds in the same way eventually! Leggerissimi distance themselves from all the other rimless glasses: imagine being in a seamstress' workshop and designing YOUR shape and creating YOUR decorations where you want them and in the colours that best represent you. They are the only rimless glasses where you don't have to conform to choosing between pre-packaged shapes and defined sizes. Sturdier than a framed pair of glasses Now we come to the classic objection: "Yes, I've already had them like this, I had problems, they came apart, they broke, etc .." Do you know what the answer is? You're right, many rimless glasses cause problems because they aren't designed correctly or assembled in the correct manner by the optician. Leggerissimi are unique for this reason too! They are the strongest glasses you can find on the market, they do not have screws or plastic pins that can give you problems. We are so confident of the sturdiness of our rimless glasses that we guarantee them 3 years for breakages, I assure you that we do it because we are so sure that they won't break! Watch the videos in "Indestructible Glasses". Spare parts and lifetime assistance! Did you know that all the glasses you buy have spare parts available for a period of about 2 years from when they're placed on the market? This is due to the fact that obviously keeping spare parts for a long time for all models in all colours would lead to a significant increase in the cost of the frame itself. Leggerissimi rimless glasses have a frame which is patented so you will find the same one even after many years, so you can always repair your glasses because the spare parts will always be avilable! Rimless glasses
Autore: Ottica Raineri 01 ago, 2020
Rimless glasses: light and not darkness! How many times do, especially us girls, use lightening and glittery eyeshadows in order to look beautiful and bright? Why then, choose black or dark glasses, that inevitably mark and create darkness on our face? Rimless glasses are perfect for those who want brightness and to not alter their facial features. Rimless yet stylish glasses Frameless glasses are often chosen as a way to hide the need to wear corrective glasses, there's nothing more wrong than choosing them for this reason! In this case the effect is basic and, please forgive me the term, a bit "uncool"! On the contrary, Leggerissimi allow you, not only to choose glasses that illuminate your face and don't darken it, but also to do it with style and personality. The facets, initials, settings and refined shapes make it possible to create beautiful looking glasses . The elegance of light Whenever I happen to help a client in choosing their glasses, I often notice that, especially women, have doubts about diamonds. I must say that these doubts don't usually last very long, as I help them to understand that it is possible to opt for a different solution, perhaps a softer one, but still bright! I believe that light on the face is always beautiful to look at and, above all, always elegant. Believe me, elegance it is never out of place, even if you are in tracksuit and trainers! They go with everything When we have to choose new glasses we are faced with the eternal dilemma: do I choose dark glasses that go with everything or do I choose a colour that illuminates my face and suits my personality? Yes, fuchsia and electric blue are nice but what do I do when I'm wearing green?? For this reason we usually fall back to the usual safe choice of dark glasses . If you want to avoid all matching problems and finally have a different frame than usual, the rimless frame is perfect for you! Leggerissimi are timeless Another element not to be underestimated, is that of fashion. I always say that glasses must only be matched to the wearer's personality and not to anyone else's. Each pair of rimless Leggerissimi glasses are unique and personalised, they will not go out of fashion next year or the year after. If you want to change, all you need to do is choose a new shape or a new style, always and only in fitting with your style! Unique and personal glasses In an increasingly global world, it is more and more difficult to find small artisan laboratories that are a little more unconventional. Generally, rimless glasses overwhelm opticians because they are more difficult to manufacture and even more so to assemble. This type of glasses are not common because it is usually only possible to choose between one shape and another without being able to make changes, let alone have a personalised custom-made process! Leggerissimi are exactly the opposite: no two pairs of glasses are identical and you'll never meet a person with your exact same glasses. Sometimes our customers recognise each other on the plane or in the most remote places and say: "We have something in common! Our Optician !!" Your nose will thank you for light glasses! Another wonderful feature of rimless glasses is the extreme lightness . If you're tired of feeling the weight of your glasses or having marks on your nose , then they are for you! They are essential to me in my daily life and considering I'm an optician I could have a different pair of glasses every day! I truly believe that our customers have never seen me with any other glasses than Leggerissimi! They're versatile and I've used them everywhere: on the roller coasters at Gardaland, play-fighting with my two children , doing the most extreme of exercises at the gym! Try them for yourself! 360 ° field of view Rimless glasses are also perfect for those who like to have broad vision, without the hindrance of the rim of the frame, which inevitably limits the field of vision. The edge, whether glossy or opaque, isn't perceived in the same way as thick dark plastic frames, thus giving broad vision similar to not wearing glasses . Need some advice? Do you want to understand which glasses are best suited to your features and eyesight defect? Contact me and I'll be happy to help you.
